Coal Quality Engineer/Geologist | Mt Arthur Coal | MuswellbrookWe are currently seeking a Coal Quality Engineer/Geologist to join our team, which has an exceptional culture where success is celebrated, and work/life balance is valued.Reporting to the Superintendent Resource, your role will be to support the site's production, planning, CHPP and logistical needs through the timely delivery of the weekly coal schedule and feed plan.
Additionally, you will provide coal recovery plans, operational guidance and pit support as the vital link between the short-term schedule, production and logistics.The role on offer is a Monday-Friday residential position.In this role you will:Engage with Production, CHPP, Planning, Marketing and Logistics teams to deliver against the short-term planning targets;Generate the weekly coal schedule, optimising the feed plans and blend to efficiently meet logistics needs;Provide geological field support to the site operational teams with coal recovery plans and pit inspections with a focus on quality;Work proactively with production teams to sequence coal to the CHPP to meet quality requirements and manage coal quality, loss and dilution, and ROM management;Complete End of Month reporting activities.As part of the site geology team, the role can be tailored to your experience and qualifications.
