About the Role The Cluster Commercial Director will oversee marketing, sales and revenue and drive the commercial strategy across two properties: Hilton Melbourne Little Queen Street & DoubleTree by Hilton Melbourne Flinders Street.
Hilton Melbourne Little Queen Street combines old world charm with modern luxuries! This stunning hotel in the heart of Melbourne's CBD features 244 stylish guest rooms, including 10 spacious suites, a restaurant and bar, fully equipped gym and five meeting & event spaces.
What will I be doing? The successful candidate will be innovative and have a record of providing strong results. You will lead a team of professionals onsite at each property and work closely with our Regional Team.
Your duties will include:
Drive the top line budget and forecast by implementing a commercial strategy through to execution Work with the General Manager and Hotel Manager of each property to ensure profits are maximised in line with targets Support the sales and marketing teams by providing strategic guidance and ensuring coordinated efforts to drive business results Support the marketing team with the coordination of hotel level marketing and public relations activities Establish an optimal mix, review and validate and maintain accurate forecasts based on trends and data, develop strategies for different demand periods, and review and approve retail and group pricing strategies Develop and maintain strong relationships with all stakeholders including owners, clients, and hotel teams to ensure commercial benefits of the hotel What are we looking for? Management experience within a commercial team of similar sized properties is required Demonstrated ability to conduct detailed analytics of revenue and propose strategies to address any concerns Exceptional stakeholder management skills to manage multiple stakeholder expectations including General Managers, Hilton Regional Teams and Hotel Owners A strong understanding of all commercial operations, including reservations, selling strategies, account management, creating and maintenance of budgets, and revenue strategies and yield systems Excellent people motivator; strong communication and leadership skills Goal-oriented with obvious drive and self-motivation What will it be like to work for Hilton?
