About the Company: The Brighton Baths Health Club is a multi-faceted facility located on the Waterfront in Brighton.
We are seeking a Dynamic Leader with a Passion for Fitness and Wellbeing to drive our Motivated team and Club to new heights.
The Brighton Baths is a Unique, Historically Significant and Inspiring Venue unlike any other in this industry. We provide a place for people to rejuvenate, with a focus on enhancing our client's Lifestyle, Wellbeing and Fitness.
We pride ourselves on valuing individuals both as members and essential employees. We offer a range of services including personal coaching and wellness classes across a variety of modalities; whilst a dedicated management and front-of-house team pride themselves on providing the level of service our premium clientele have come to expect.
About the Role: We are looking for the right passionate, motivated and committed person to take on the Full-Time role of Club Manager. The ideal candidate will be enthusiastic about health, fitness and wellbeing on a holistic level along with being experienced in management, sales and multitasking within a varied and dynamic management and administrative workload.
This position requires an autonomous, diligent and resilient - solution focused person. You will be responsible for the daily running of the club as well as the long-term growth of the business.
Task will include but not limited to; Managing and overseeing the Front of House team to ensure daily tasks are completed and exceptional customer service is given to our members and guests. Oversee membership sales retention and engagement. Marketing and promoting through multiple social media platforms including but not limited to Facebook, Instagram, Twitter, Google Ads. Oversee up to 3 personal trainers which includes, payment, bookings and cancellations of clients. Financial and account management of the club including overseeing and running the direct debit and customer account payments. Work alongside the management team to ensure we continue to provide an exceptional and unique service to our members and guests. Ensure the positive club culture and ethos continues to be reflected daily throughout the club Rostering Outreach and community engagement Customer service resolution Promoting the Brighton Baths Health Club image and brand in the local community We believe this is an amazing opportunity for the right candidate to make a difference to people's lives and work in a fun, face paced, dynamic environment.
Key Skills Demonstrated ability to multitask in real time in a multifaceted fast paced business High level verbal and written communication skills High level customer service and conflict management skills Have strong decision-making skills High level office and computing skills High level administration experience Ability to work rostered rotating mornings, evenings, weekends and public holidays Exceptional organisational skills and attention to detail Work coherently in team-based work environment Ability to work proactively and independently Living locally would be advantageous Loves working in a team environment Key Qualifications/ Experience Former management and sales experience required. Currently working with Children Check. First Aid / Pool Lifeguard qualified or willing to complete.
