Their team is dedicated to protecting human health and the environment through expert advice and practical solutions.Position Overview: They are seeking an experienced and highly motivated Contaminated Land Manager to join their team in Sydney.
The ideal candidate will have a strong background in contaminated land assessment, remediation, and project management.
This role involves leading contaminated land projects, managing client relationships, and ensuring compliance with environmental regulations.Key Responsibilities:Lead and manage contaminated land assessment and remediation projects from inception to completion.Conduct site investigations, risk assessments, and develop remediation strategies.Prepare and review technical reports, including Phase I and Phase II Environmental Site Assessments, Remediation Action Plans, and validation reports.Liaise with clients, regulatory authorities, and stakeholders to ensure project requirements are met.Provide technical guidance and mentorship to junior staff and project teams.Ensure compliance with relevant environmental legislation and standards.Develop and maintain strong client relationships and identify new business opportunities.Qualifications:Bachelor's or Master's degree in Environmental Science, Geology, Engineering, or a related field.Minimum of 10 years of experience in contaminated land assessment and remediation.Strong knowledge of NSW contaminated land legislation and guidelines.Proven experience in managing complex projects and leading multidisciplinary teams.Excellent communication, negotiation, and stakeholder management skills.Proficiency in environmental assessment tools and software.Certification or accreditation in contaminated land management is highly desirable.What We Offer:Competitive salary and benefits package.Opportunities for professional development and career advancement.A supportive and collaborative work environment.The chance to work on diverse and impactful environmental projects.Join them in making a positive impact on the environment and advancing your career with them!
