For more than 200 years we have supported people at the margins of society: Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander Australians; children, young people, and their families; older people; carers and people with disability.Your new roleYou will be registered with the NDIS as an "Advanced" or "Specialist" Behavioural Support Practitioner according to the NDIS Capability Framework for Behaviour Support.As a Clinical Supervisor you will provide expert clinical supervision and professional development to Behaviour Support Practitioners of various levels of experience. You will deliver your supervision in either individual or group/peer settings via face-to-face or virtually. The aim is to ensure that all practitioners provide services that align with Benevolent policies, procedures, and NDIS quality and safeguards commissioner, alongside other relevant industry benchmarks.DutiesProvide Clinical Supervision: Deliver high-quality clinical supervision to staff, ensuring adherence to Benevolent and Disability Services procedures.Support Practitioner Development: Guide new professionals and practitioners in client management, diagnosis, and best practices.Promote Evidence-Based Practices: Act as a subject matter expert, coaching staff on NDIS standards and improving client outcomes.Collaborate on Professional Growth: Work with managers, senior therapists, and universities to enhance team capabilities.Monitor and Report Compliance: Ensure compliance with Disability standards and provide feedback on staff performance.Minimum RequirementsMUST be registered as an "Advanced" Practitioner with the NDIS according to the NDIS Capability Framework.Demonstrated experience developing comprehensive Behaviour Support Plans.Familiarity with the NDIS Behaviour Support Guidelines and legislation.Strong clinical supervision experience to staff working with complex clients in the NDIS environment.Previous experience working with children, adults, and parents/care givers where the clients have complex needs.Ability to provide supervision via technology or delivering supervision to regional locations.Demonstrated ability to professionally supervise new graduate and more experienced therapists.Ability to communicate effectively with therapists, their Team Leaders, and Managers.Understanding of the impact of disability and trauma on behaviour and development.Ability to apply evidence-based practice to optimise outcomes.Strong analytical and report-writing skills.Ability to work flexible hours and travel as required.Interested?
