About the role (Internal only)
The Clinical Standards Coordinator is responsible for supporting Queensland X-ray to meet and exceed all relevant clinical and quality standards and provide service excellence to our patients and referring doctors.
Key Responsibilities Develop, review and implement clinical policies and procedures to ensure adherence to all clinical standards and regulations across Queensland X-ray.Collate clinical data for review and monitoring purposes ensuring compliance with QXR policies, procedures and protocols.Coordinate radiology report peer review case investigations under the direction of the Executive and Clinical Standards Committee.Promote a culture of excellence in clinical standards and quality across the business.Actively lead the initiation, development and implementation of quality improvement activities that will enhance clinical standards and performance.Provide authoritative counsel on clinical standards and quality matters to practice leaders.Provide clinical advice with regards to patient and referrer feedback, liaising with subject matter experts as appropriate.Collaborate with the Sonic Radiology Quality and Risk Manager on all national quality and risk items.Identify training and education requirements across all employee streams to ensure adherence to clinical and quality standards.About you Bachelor's degree in Medical Imaging or other relevant field of study within Medical Imaging practice.Minimum of 5 years working in a radiology practice or department.An understanding of clinical standards and quality across all areas of the business.Excellent communication skills and ability to liaise with radiologists, managers, practice staff and external parties.Demonstrate sound judgement and maturity and the ability to work autonomously.Thoroughness and attention to detail in work practices.Please apply by submitting your resume with a one-page cover letter attached telling us who you are and why you'd be perfect for this secondment opportunity.
