The role: The Clinical Nurse Specialist - Renal Home Therapies, as a clinical expert in the area of practice:
Utilises specialist nursing knowledge, skills and experience to assess, coordinate and review patients eligible for home-based renal replacement therapies (Home Haemodialysis and/or Peritoneal Dialysis). Provides discipline specific expertise and effective nursing care, in partnership with patients, their families, and other health professionals, for patients undertaking renal replacement home therapies. Functions effectively as a senior member of the renal multidisciplinary team and contributes to workplace activities, working collaboratively to assist and support the Nurse Unit Manager (NUM) in achieving the goals of the service. Details of Appointment North-West Renal Satellite Unit located in Burnie, is a highly specialised area which will provide: The Clinical Nurse Specialist - Renal Home Therapies, as a clinical expert in the area of practice:
Utilises specialist nursing knowledge, skills and experience to assess, coordinate and review patients eligible for home-based renal replacement therapies (Home Haemodialysis). Provides discipline specific expertise and effective nursing care, in partnership with patients, their families, and other health professionals, for patients undertaking renal replacement home therapies. Functions effectively as a senior member of the renal multidisciplinary team and contributes to workplace activities, working collaboratively to assist and support the Nurse Unit Manager (NUM) in achieving the goals of the service. Permanent, part time, day workerposition working 48 hours per fortnight, commencing as soon as possible
*notwithstanding hours may be negotiated with the successful applicant
Applicants should note that, for a period of twelve months from the date of publication, this selection process may be used to fill subsequent or similar full time and part time vacancies. Salary: $103,466 to $109,165 pro rata, per annum. Our Employer 11% superannuation contribution is on top of this amount.
You'll have access to salary package a range of benefits including living expenses up to $9,010 + $2,650 in meal entertainment each FBT year + other benefits if eligible.
Salary range is in accordance with Nurses and Midwives (Tasmanian State Service) Agreement 2023 Eligibility: Successful applicants will be required to meet the essential criteria:
Registered with the Nursing and Midwifery Board of Australia as a Registered Nurse.
Current Driver's Licence.

It is the employee's responsibility to ensure that registration/licences remain current and to advise the Employer if their circumstances change.
