The purpose of this role is to provide clinical expertise, education, leadership and support to nursing staff; utilising clinical skills, to provide patients within the oncology ward with quality patient care and the provision of best practice.
Generous remuneration package: value up to $83,550 p.a. comprising:
Salary range of $54.44 to $58.30 p.h. (Nurse Grade 6 Band 1)Annual leave with 17.5% loading12.75% employer contribution to superannuation. The ideal applicant will be someone who has proven ability and can demonstrate the following: Comprehensively assess, plan, implement and evaluate nursing care at an advanced level within a complex environment.Build and maintain effective relationships with team members, patients and other stakeholders, including participation in relevant networks to achieve work unit outcomes.Provide nursing leadership in the clinical and professional setting including the role modelling of effective communication and problem solving.Use information and reporting systems appropriate to the position in order to achieve outcomes and identify areas for improvement.Provide clinical education and support at an advanced level and demonstrate own professional development. Role requirements: Qualification: Bachelor of Nursing or equivalent certification relevant to the position is mandatory.Shift Workers: Appointees will be required to work all shifts in accordance with the unit roster.Highly Desirable: Possession of or working towards anti-cancer therapy administration and cellular therapy infusion.Highly Desirable: Possession of a relevant postgraduate qualification in an appropriate field is highly desirable. Such experience may be discipline specific or have a service area focus. Why make the move?
