About your opportunity: In this position you will:
The CN will be required to have expertise in specific areas of geriatric nursing and may be required to work across all streams of the Older Persons Integrated Health Service which includes ED, community and residential aged care.Advanced gerontic screening, assessment and care of RACF residents and community-based clients.Demonstrates advanced planning and coordination in the clinical management of patient care, identifying, anticipating and prioritising needs and working with the interdisciplinary team in all settings to achieve patient and unit goals within required timeframes.Demonstrates a strong team commitment through open, effective communication and active participation in the development and achievement of unit goals.As a Cairns and Hinterland Hospital and Health Service employee, not only will you receive competitive remuneration, you will also have access to:
