Your part in The Wesley Hospital team Our Cardiac Catheter Theatre team care for a range of cardiac diagnostic & interventional procedures, vascular procedure and cardiac medical patients.
In addition, our structural heart program, inclusive of TAVR and MitraClip continues with strong growth.
This program consistently delivers patient outcomes better than national average benchmark guidelines.
Our research opportunities see staff involved in both national and international transcatheter valve trials.
Reporting to Assistant Director of Nursing (Perioperative Services) as the Clinical Nurse Manager, you will oversee the operational leadership and development of our Ward Cardiac Catheter Theatre team, applying your operational knowledge, leadership capability and communication skills to effectively lead your team to success.
You'll collaborate effectively with other healthcare leaders in the hospital including Nurse Management, working together to deliver optimal patient outcomes through advancing the delivery of exceptional clinical care.

Build a cooperative working environment between members of a multi-disciplinary team, applying your skills to build a high functioning and outcome focused unit. Maintain professional standards of practice through the evaluation of services and through key strategies. Ensure optimal procurement and allocation of resources, including recruitment and budgeting to achieve optimal service objectives. What makes a difference for us? You'll present with:
Minimum five years clinical expertise and skills in Cardiac Nursing Speciality. Bachelor of Nursing degree or equivalent and AHPRA registration. Leadership experience in the provision of comprehensive evidence-based patient care. Expertise and skills in managing a cost centre budget and people management. Evidence of contribution to ongoing quality initiatives and improvements. Ongoing commitment to self-evaluation and professional development. Post-registration qualifications relevant to the area of nursing practice and/or people management/leadership qualifications are highly desirable. What makes a difference for you?
