Clinical Nurse Consultant (Surgical Clinical Reviewer) (Bundaberg)An exciting opportunity is currently available for an experienced Clinical Nurse Consultant (Surgical Clinical Reviewer) to join the Critical Care Team at the Bundaberg Hospital within the Wide Bay Hospital and Health Service. The Wide Bay area is arguably one of the most beautiful regions of Queensland. The Health Service stretches from Agnes Water in the North to Maryborough in the South and provides acute care services to a population of over 225,000 residents including several rural communities.Take a chance, progress your career and discover all that the Wide Bay has to offer.Your opportunity:The purpose of this role is to provide clinical expertise and consultancy through advanced clinical leadership through high quality data compilation and documentation. Undertake the collection and submission of reliable data to the American College of Surgeons National Surgical Quality Improvement Program (ACS NSQIP); and ACS NSQIP database for all eligible surgeries for the hospital.Maintain a close relationship with the Nursing Director Critical Care, Clinical Director General Surgery, Clinical Director Anaesthetics and hospital executive to identify opportunities for quality improvement and projects. The CNC will report to the Nursing Director Critical Care Bundaberg.Temporary Full Time (76 hours p.f.) From date of appointment for up to 12 monthsWe encourage applications from First Nations nurses and midwives in line with Health Equity, Growing Deadly Families, and Hospital and Health Plan Strategies.You will receive a competitive remuneration package value up to $164,212 p.a., comprising salary between $5,081.10 - $5,516.60 p.f., employer contribution to superannuation (up to 12.75%) and annual leave loading (17.5%) (Nurse Grade 7) (Temporary Full Time, 76 hours p.f., From date of appointment for up to 12 months) (Applications will remain current for 12 months).
