This is through our steadfast commitment to providing patient and family-centred care at every level of our service and our continuous drive for service and operational excellence.Children's Health Queensland is a specialist statewide hospital and health service dedicated to caring for children and young people from across Queensland and northern New South Wales.A recognised leader in paediatric healthcare, education and research, Children's Health Queensland delivers a full range of clinical services, tertiary level care and health promotion programs.The position of Clinical Nurse Consultant will:Professionally and clinically lead, plan and support two multidisciplinary teams in conjunction with the Nurse Unit Managers (NUM's) across a geographical cluster.Provide nursing leadership in a multidisciplinary service utilising expert knowledge and skills in child health nursing practice to deliver evidence-based child health services.Lead and co-ordinate the implementation of clinical and professional practice frameworks to develop a learning and research culture within the service.Develop pathways in consultation with the CNC Child Health Liaison and other stakeholders and service partners.Develop relationships with organisations who support children and families who have complex care plans.Is accountable to the Nursing Director for the professional support of nursing staff in relation to the delivery of clinical services.Apart from contributing to the development of Australia's best paediatric health service, you will also benefit from a competitive remuneration package and a working environment which embraces professional development, builds capabilities and supports staff to maximise their health and wellbeing.
