Your opportunity: The Clinical Nurse Consultant (CNC) is a clinical leader, accountable at an advanced practice level for the coordination of patient centred clinical practice specific to the Behaviour Response Team.
The CNC demonstrates sound knowledge of contemporary nursing practice and theory and provides clinical leadership, advice and advocacy to a multidisciplinary team and is responsible for the facilitation and provision of quality and cost effective nursing and/or midwifery services which are consistent with contemporary standards, guidelines, relevant legislation and best practice.
The BRT teams, consisting of advanced level nurses and allied health staff, have an exciting opportunity to use their skills and experience to develop these pivotal roles for patient care, developing behaviour management plans for patients admitted on the wards, supporting education and capacity development for HHS staff, as well as providing a community outreach role in order to support sustainable discharges from hospital and prevent unnecessary admissions.

Our offer: You will receive a competitive remuneration package value up to $164,212 p.a., comprising salary between $132,562 - $143,924 p.a., employer contribution to superannuation (up to 12.75%) and annual leave loading (17.5%) (Nurse Grade 7) (Permanent Full Time, 76 hours p.f.).
