About the role Calvary Adelaide Hospital is seeking a Clinical Manager to oversee our Acute General Medical ward.
This full-time role provides nursing leadership and direction for the efficient coordination and management of clinical services with a focus to deliver excellent nursing care.
This is a permanent Level 3 role, reporting directly to the Deputy Director of Clinical Services - Inpatient Areas.
Your main duties will include: Oversee daily operations of the ward, including patient care, staffing and resource allocation. Implement and maintain clinical standards and protocols to ensure optimal patient outcomes. Foster a collaborative environment among multidisciplinary teams to deliver high quality care. What you bring: Proven experience in medical nursing with a well developed understanding of related clinical practices. Good understanding of Dementia Care and relevant care practices. Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, essential for building effective relationships with patients and colleagues. Strong leadership skills with the ability to inspire and mentor a team towards departmental goals. Demonstrated knowledge of the requirements of the National Standards for Safety and Quality in Healthcare. Current registration with AHPRA as a Registered Nurse.
