About The Role: Avondale Care is seeking a compassionate and experienced Clinical Manager to join our team for an 8-month fixed-term contract.
This role will play a pivotal part in supporting the General Manager in administering nursing services at both Avondale House and Alton Lodge, Cooranbong, ensuring the highest standard of care for our residents.

Key Accountabilities: Collaborate closely with the General Manager to enhance and promote the quality of resident care.
Establish and maintain open dialogue with residents' families and representatives to ensure transparency and trust in care delivery.
Lead, direct, and manage nursing staff, addressing performance, development, and workplace issues effectively.
Liaise with supervisors and registered staff carrying additional responsibilities, ensuring smooth delegation and operations across care services.
Implement strategies to continuously improve clinical standards, ensuring compliance with aged care regulations and promoting best practices in resident care.

Who You Are: AHPRA-registered Registered Nurse with proven leadership experience in clinical or aged care environments.
Strong interpersonal and communication skills for effective family and team engagement.
Ability to manage multiple priorities and oversee clinical care operations efficiently.
Committed to maintaining high standards of care and compliance with aged care regulations.
A solution-focused leader with a track record of managing teams and addressing clinical and staffing issues.
A passion for delivering high-quality care and improving residents' wellbeing.
Essentials for this role: AHPRA-registered Registered Nurse, with minimal post-graduate experience of 2 years.
Strong clinical expertise in aged care, with a solid understanding of nursing processes and assessments.
Proven experience and commitment to maintaining high standards of care and compliance with aged care regulations, including the AN - ACC.
Strong interpersonal and communication skills for effective family and team engagement.
Intermediate proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite and experience with databases for finance, maintenance, clinical care, and governance.
Demonstrated skills and experience in leadership, supervision, working with people, planning, organising, and decision-making.
Demonstrated commitment to a positive organisational culture, aligning with ASL's signature behaviours of Achievement, Performance, Connection, and Wellbeing.
Valid driver's license.
Current NDIS Check or willingness to obtain.
Current vaccinations as required for the role or willingness to obtain.
