ABOUT THE ROLE Mid West Gascoyne Youth Justice Services branch is responsible for the safety, security, and rehabilitation of young people both in the community and custody.  Its core objective is to reduce reoffending among young people through programs and services for young people on orders in the community and programs and services in custody; services to divert young people away from the criminal justice system. The Clerical Officer provides clerical support across of a range of administrative and customer based activities for Mid West Gascoyne Youth Justice Service locations. Provides administrative and secretarial support; including attending to reception duties; word processing; using excel spreadsheets and data input. Prioritises incoming information and correspondence and directs it to the appropriate officer within the branch. Maintains accurate and effective correspondence, filing and other office database records to ensure issues are actioned and completed in a timely manner.
