Cleansing Team Member Citywide are recruiting for Cleansing Team Members to join our team working on the Maribyrnong City Council Contract.
In this role, your time will be split between litter picking duties (week 1) and high-pressure cleaning duties (week 2).
High Pressure Washing – Mon to Fri - 3am to 11.06am, Saturday 12.30pm to 4.30pmLitter picking – Mon to Fri - 4am to 12.06pmDuties rotate on a weekly basis – Week 1 Litter/Week 2 High Pressure WashingDuties include but are not limited to: Litter picking around Footscray CBD, Yarraville precinct, Seddon shopping locations, Footscray West areasWiping binsOperating equipment such as petrol/electric blowers and high-pressure washersOperating vehicles such as mini sweeper and Ute with trailerUnloading collected rubbish at the Transfer StationAssisting with leaf removal (seasonal)Working with a Sweeper driver with the collection of litter and hard rubbishSkills and qualifications required: Previous experience in a similar role (Desirable)Full Victorian Drivers Licence (HR Desirable)Ability to drive a Ute with trailerAble to work on public holidaysIn return we offer: The job security that comes with our list of long-term contractsThe chance to make an impact in a rapidly expanding companyThe opportunity to further develop your skills in a strong, supportive environmentA workplace that focuses on safety firstA company with a culture of teamwork and respectAbout Citywide At Citywide, we are a proud company with a clear purpose and mission – we shape liveable cities by delivering the full scope of civil infrastructure, open space, and environmental services to government and private enterprise.
