The Ormsby, a 136-bed residential aged care facility located in beautiful Buderim, is close to shops, banks, schools, and medical services, while still being a part of the welcoming, friendly Buderim village and only 15 minutes from the Sunshine Coast's fabulous beaches.
Role ResponsibilitiesEnsure that all areas of the facility are clean and maintained at a high standard at all times.Attend to residents' personal requirements by ensuring the cleanliness of bedside cupboards, tables, ensuites, and other equipment or furniture located in the residents' room.Assist with the provision of a safe, efficient, and hygienic care service through maintaining a clean environment and adhering to infection control practices.Replenish and restock cleaning trolleys as required.Provide a high-quality, effective, and efficient laundry service for residents, observing appropriate standards and infection control procedures.QualificationsYou bring: at least 12 months of experience in a commercial laundry or professional cleaning role, a real commitment to working safely, fabulous teamwork skills, basic computer skills, and a passion for making a difference.

Vaccination RequirementAll aged care employees must be fully vaccinated against seasonal influenza and COVID-19 in order to enter an aged care facility. All successful applicants will be required to provide proof of both vaccinations prior to commencing.
