Civil Supervisor

Silverstrand is seeking an experienced Civil Supervisor to join our team onour SEQ Projects.  Experienced in delivering Civil, Structures, Road and Drainage projects.
About the Role: You will be responsible for, but not limited to;
Work across a variety of different civil and structures projectsWork closely with engineers to forecast and implement construction plansEnsure daily work activities are delegated efficiently at pre-startDirectly lead and oversee site teams in completing a DTMR or local council construction projectsMonitor and report on the progress of projects and make adjustments as necessaryUtilize, read and interpret project plans, designs and other instructions given by the Superintendent and Project ManagerSupervise the team to ensure the final product meets specifications in terms of design, quality, safety, and budgetPlan and schedule work, and allocate resources to meet project objectivesProvide guidance and training to junior staff and contractorsCoordinate and participate in safety meetings and inspections About You: Minimum of 8 years in the construction industryPrevious Supervisor experience on road infrastructure projects (DTMR preferred)Certificate IV in Civil Construction Supervision or above is highly desirableWhite card trained/inductedTraffic Management Implementation (formerly L2 Traffic Management) is favorableFirst Aid & CPR trained  What's on offer: Competitive remuneration based on the successful candidate's experienceA permanent position with a growing civil construction companyWork Vehicle About us: Silverstrand is a privately owned and operated contractor operating across Australasia since 2008, providing quality delivery in all areas of both civil and structural construction works in metro, regional and remote areas.
