Due to growth in the business, we are currently seeking to employ an experieinced Civil Project Engineer for an immmediate start.
Job Description The Civil Project Engineer will have the opportunity to work with Senior Project Managers and their teams, participate in major project work with hands on access to the fabrication workshop as well as opportunity to work on various site-based projects.
Review drawings and specifications and execute the scope of work in accordance with these. Prepare MTO's and RFQ packs for material procurement and subcontractor engagement. Evaluate quotes and prepare technical and commercial bid evaluations for material and subcontract packages for approval. Review and understand project budgets and schedules and assist with identifying project variations. Deliverengineering administrative and technical support to project teams tofacilitate effective delivery of projects. Scheduling of procurement, fabrication and subcontractor engagement to meet project schedules Oversee project deliverables for site execution including ITP's, ITR's andwork packs. Assist with development of QAQC documentation, execution methodologies and schedules. Develop progress tracking spreadsheets and provide updates and report on project progress. Liaise with client representatives on project commitments and assist resolving technical queries. Work in accordance with the Company's Core Values. Lead projects from award through to close out. Prepare and maintain project documentation and deliverables. Lead the project team and provide engineering technical support. Liaise closely with clients, and all other project staff. Ensure compliance with client QAQC requirements, as well as Company policies, plans and procedures. Qualifications Have a Civil Engineering Degree with around 3years' experience in Australia. Demonstrated comprehensive skill, knowledge, and experience of the following:Execution of bulk earthworks packages including drainage and ground improvement ($5m or greater) Concrete installation (insitu and precast) Piling Works Installation Experience with Main Roads WA requirements Subcontractor management White Card Willingness to travel on an ad hoc basis or potentially regular rosters and be eligible to access client sites. Demonstrated ability to build and maintain strong relationships with clients, suppliers, subcontractors, and internal employees.
