About the Role:Davies Stewart are partnering with McMahon Services to recruit for a Civil Estimator. As an Estimator, you will report to the Senior Estimator and work closely with the relevant stakeholders to prepare and deliver estimates, budgets and cost plans for the projects. Key Responsibilities:-Operational responsibilities Review RFX documentation and assist in tender estimation preparation
Support in RFQ preparation for suppliers and sub-contractors
Support in providing required tender documentation (i.e. cost and commercial schedules, construction methodologies and basis of estimation)
Maintain a centralised cost-estimating database
-Stakeholder management Liaise with stakeholders and build strong working relationships
Collaborate with stakeholders to win bids and pricing strategies
-Team management Review work and give support and guidance to the estimation team
Plan, manage and prioritise teamwork to meet required timelines
Skills & Experience: Strong communication skills including the ability to collaborate with others
Strong work ethic and a can-do attitude
Minimum 2 to 3 years experience in estimation
Degree in Engineering, Estimation, or Cost Management
Experience in construction industry (preferred)
Construction White Card and Current driver's license
