About the RolePremise is a full-service consultancy providing tailored solutions across various sectors including urban development, transport, water and wastewater, agriculture, energy and resources, and health and education. We are well positioned to service our broad client base throughout Queensland, New South Wales, Victoria, Western Australia and the Asia Pacific region.

An opportunity has become available for a Civil Engineer.

This position would provide you exposure with working on a diverse range of projects. You will be working with developers, state government agencies, local Councils, external consultants and our own team of in-house professionals.

Key Responsibilities

Technical input into engineering design and reporting on a range of projects.

Project management activities.

Supervising complex engineering tasks relating to civil projects.

Monitor project schedules and budgets to ensure on time and in budget delivery.

Maintain regular contact with project clients and other stakeholders to provide progress updates.

Proactively identify and address potential changes to project scope/costs.

Complete reporting requirements and progress reporting.

Project delivery in line with Premise Quality Management System procedures and requirements.

Coordination and management resources, both internal and external.

Assessment and documentation of client requirements and preparation of contracts.

Project forecasting and coordination of multi-disciplinary project teams, and progress reporting.

Management of project team members, including selection, appraisal participation and identification of training needs or requirements.

Develop professional relationships with clients to retain and grow our client base.

Identify, pursue and secure opportunities for new business.

Delivery of projects to clients in accordance with agreed specifications.

Qualifications

Bachelor of Engineering

Minimum 2 years post graduate industry experience, ideally in consulting engineering.

Required Experience

Strong practical knowledge of engineering principles, relevant codes, standards, and engineering legislation.

Excellent verbal and written communication skills.

Strong accuracy and attention to detail and commitment to continuous improvement.
