Our Community Development team in Albany, Western Australia is seeking to appoint a Civil Engineer in a permanent full time position.
In this role you will manage the civil design and documentation on a variety of urban, land and subdivision projects in both the public and private sectors, across an extensive regional client portfolio.
You will be involved in resolving design constraints, coordinating projects, interfacing with various disciplines and delivering projects with the support of a multi-disciplinary design team.
This role will suit a Civil Engineer who has demonstrated experience in Australia within urban, land and subdivision projects and is not suited for a graduate.
Day to day tasks would involve: Design, coordination and project management of urban, land and subdivision projects, from feasibility through to construction Prepare technical reports and specifications Provide technical expertise to clients and support projects Manage projects including scheduling and the preparation of project budgets Coordinate between disciplines on multidisciplinary projects Undertake and manage site inspections Maintain existing and develop new, trusted relationships with key clients What you will bring to the team Bachelor of Civil Engineering Demonstrated experience in civil engineering design and the delivery of projects, ideally within urban, land and subdivisions Experience and a sound understanding of current civil engineering technologies, including design, modelling and construction Project management skills Well-developed written and verbal communication skills including report writing.
