Civil Asset Maintenance Administrator (Customer Services) – Government - Temp ContractStart: 01/10/24 – End: 20/12/24
Location: Oakhurst/Gelndenning
Salary: $33.46 ph + super
Full time: Monday to Friday - 08:30am to 16:30pm

About the CompanyOur client within the Government sector is seeking an individual who has outstanding administration and communication skills preferably in an asset maintenance working environment.
This is a temporary contract role and we require candidates who are ready to hit the ground running and available for an immediate start.
You will be working in a friendly and supportive working environment with the potential opportunity for ongoing work.

Duties within the role will include but not limited to:Answer telephone enquiries and complaints from the general public and staffAnswer or initiate telephone calls relating to ordering materials or servicesOrder materials, goods or services as appropriate e.g.
stationary, films etcAttend to enquiries internal/external as requiredPrepare correspondence as requiredMaintain any registers, records, ledgers, files and books as directedCorrelate contractor's invoices with relevant Council orders and prepare contract payments to payment stageOversee repairs and maintenance to copying machine and arrange paymentsPrepare 12 monthly financial year plant hire orders covering long term and short term hiring of large plant and machineryCollect and collate invoices, Council orders and delivery dockets and prepare paymentsOrganise hired plant and equipmentInput data as requiredSupport eServices as requiredPrepare various inspection certificatesArrange construction inspections of driveways, paths etc.
and liaise with Council Inspectors to expedite inspectionsExpedite all duties relating to restoration activitiesPerform clerical duties such as record keeping, photocopying, filing and telephone messagesAssist other clerks in the department as requiredAny other duty as directed by the Manager Civil Asset MaintenanceUndertake any duties within limits of the incumbent's competencies, training and skillsTake minutes of meetingsEnsure time sheets are completed and submitted on timeThe management of volunteers if required by the roleSkills & ExperiencePrevious experience in Customer Service, Admin and/or Call Centre roles.Strong computer skills particularly with Microsoft OfficeAre motivated and self-drivenExcellent written and verbal communication skillsHigh level of attention to detailExperience within a Government environment is beneficial but not essentialMust be available for the entire initial contract For interest in this role, please apply now or send a copy of your updated resume to Brooke Dover at ****** APPLICATIONS CLOSING SOON.
