Assistance with community access and recreational activities Personal care (showering, toileting, and personal hygiene assistance) Manual handling and/or the use of equipment to support mobility (wheelchairs or hoists) Transportation and supporting social engagement Domestic duties such as meal preparation and cleaning Our ideal candidate will have:
Willingness to learn to become the best Support Worker Willingness to support people with Mental Health and Complex Behaviours Prepared to undergo training for the use of a Hoist, PEG Feeding and Epilepsy Management Flexible availability Willing to travel and do sleepovers Essential criteria:
An understanding of the disability/community services sector and person-centred support Transferable life/work skills along with a caring and compassionate approach A valid driver's license and a reliable vehicle NDIS Worker Screening Check or ability to obtain The legal right to work in Australia Excellent communication skills A genuine interest in the wellbeing & inclusion of people with disabilities Job Type: Casual
Pay: $33.96 – $43.08 per hour
