About the Position We are looking to welcome a Child and Family Practitioner to deliver an outreach model of therapeutic case coordination to families, caregivers, kids, and young people.
Full time position. Position until 7 November 2025. Level 5 under the SCHCADS Award. Salary range is $97,378 - $101,788 + Super. Key Responsibilities: Support thorough psycho-social assessments. Implement tailored evidence-informed interventions directly to children to cater to individual need. Support reunification plans based on evidence-informed models. Provide psychoeducation and practical assistance to children, carers and stakeholders. About You Tertiary degree in a relevant discipline (social work, human services, allied health, psychology). At least three (3) years' experience working with children, young people and their families who have been impacted by trauma or have experienced abuse and neglect, or more than five (5) years in similar roles. Specialist skills in one of the following areas trauma, attachment, social-emotional development, drug and alcohol, mental health, family and domestic violence, child development and disabilities. Ability to work as part of a multi-disciplinary team and utilise a strengths-based approach. Other Requirements Eligibility for a Working with Children Check or professional exemption.
