We are currently seeking a confident, collegial and engaged Chief Financial Officer (CFO) to join our executive leadership team. Managing all financial aspects of the institution, the CFO will provide strategic leadership and guidance to ensure the University's financial stability, sustainability, and growth. Primary responsibilities include: Financial Planning and Analysis Budgeting and Resource Management Financial Reporting and Compliance Investment Management and Treasury Operations Risk Management and Compliance Leadership and Collaboration Requirement of the role: CPA/ CA or equivalent professional certification essential Master's degree in finance, accounting, business administration, or a related field Extensive experience in financial management, budgeting, and strategic planning Proven leadership skills with the ability to inspire and motivate teams Strong analytical skills and attention to detail Thorough understanding of financial systems, investment principles, risk management practices, and regulatory requirements applicable to the higher education sector Excellent interpersonal, communication, and negotiation skills, with the ability to collaborate effectively across departments and engage with internal and external stakeholders To understand more about the University of Canberra and this opportunity, connect tolink below, which contains details on the role and how to apply.
