Based right in the bustling CBD, their dynamic team is gearing up for an exciting expansion and are on the hunt for a Settlements Officer to join. Known for their expertise in commercial asset finance, they're led by a group of highly respected professionals in the field. Our client is currently seeking a highly motivated and detail-oriented Recoveries Officer to join. You will be responsible for managing the recovery process for delinquent accounts and minimising financial losses for the company. It's a fantastic opportunity to join a friendly yet professional crew, where they value your knowledge, dedication, and experience, and make sure you're duly rewarded. The Job….. Reporting to the COO, you will be responsible for the below duties: Contacting customers with overdue accounts to negotiate repayment plans and arrangements. Reviewing delinquent accounts and determining appropriate actions for recovery. Liaising with internal departments and external agencies to facilitate the recovery process. Monitoring payment arrangements and ensuring compliance with agreed-upon terms. Identifying and escalating accounts with potential legal action or further collection efforts. Maintaining accurate and up-to-date records of all communication and actions taken. Providing regular reports on recovery activities and outcomes to management. You…. To be successful in this role, you must have experience in the following areas and possess the below personal qualities: Minimum 4 years experience in collections or recoveries ideally within the asset finance sector. Strong negotiation and communication skills, with the ability to effectively interact with customers. Excellent attention to detail and organisational skills. Ability to work independently and manage multiple tasks simultaneously. Knowledge of relevant laws and regulations governing debt collection practices.
