02nd October, 2024Position: Chief Financial Officer (CFO)Location: Sydney CBDIndustry: ApparelType: Full-TimeResponsibilities:Develop and implement financial strategies aligned with the company's goals and objectives.Oversee budgeting, forecasting, and long-term financial planning.Analyze industry trends, market conditions, and business risks specific to the apparel sector to guide decision-making.Provide financial insights and recommendations to the CEO and board for business growth and expansion.Ensure accurate financial reporting, adhering to accounting standards and practices.Prepare and present financial statements, reports, and analyses to stakeholders.Ensure compliance with tax regulations, accounting policies, and legal requirements.Manage external audits and maintain relationships with auditors.Oversee the cost structure of apparel production, including materials, labor, and overhead.Analyze profitability across product lines, categories, and distribution channels.Implement cost-saving measures to optimize operational efficiency while maintaining quality.Manage capital structure, including debt, equity, and working capital.Assess and pursue financing opportunities, such as loans, lines of credit, and investments.Oversee financial aspects of inventory management to minimize excess and shortages.Collaborate with supply chain and procurement teams to control costs and enhance margins.Monitor cash flow related to production schedules and inventory turnover.Develop and implement financial controls to safeguard company assets.Implement insurance policies and hedging strategies as needed.Set performance targets, mentor finance team members, and promote professional development.Requirements:CA or CPA qualified.Strong communication and negotiation skills.Full working rights in Australia (Permanent Visa required).Minimum 3 years of experience in the apparel industry, in the role of Financial Controller or higher.Proven track record in financial strategy, analysis, and operational efficiency within the apparel sector.Benefits:Attractive salary package, based on experience and skill set.Opportunity to work in a dynamic and growing company in the heart of Sydney CBD.If you are interested in this exciting opportunity, please apply within or send your updated resume to ******.
