Be a part of one of Victoria's premier race tracks!
The Wangaratta Turf Club (WTC) is a vibrant race track, also offering significant equine training and a fantastic new function centre boasting sweeping views of the course.

The WTC is inviting applications from experienced and hands-on Chief Executive Officers or General Managers.
The WTC CEO reports directly to the Chairman.

In this busy but rewarding role, you will be responsible for achieving the WTC's strategic objectives, driving business growth, profitability, and efficiency, whilst also overseeing WTC's daily operations.
You will be the face of the WTC, working to ensure attendance at all race and WTC events.

Qualifications and Skills Required: Qualification in Business, Finance, Marketing, or Communications, with a minimum of 5 years experience in a senior role.
Demonstrated contemporary leadership, problem-solving, and relational skills with the ability to engage all staff in their responsibilities.
Demonstrated financial knowledge to analyse financial statements and report on performance.
Demonstrated business acumen and strategic management skills.
Exceptional governance, risk management, and mitigation skills.
Strong written and verbal communication skills, ability to prepare reports, business cases, project plans and present and speak at meetings and community engagements.
Adaptability and flexibility to accommodate changing operational needs.
Capability of working in a busy environment across multiple business streams.
Previous experience and/or a high level understanding of the thoroughbred racing industry.
This role will suit someone who loves variety in their work and can manage multiple business streams whilst adhering to changing and demanding deadlines.
