The Opportunity As the Chief Executive Officer, you will be the strategic leader of the organisation, responsible for upholding its mission while ensuring the delivery of vital services. You will oversee operations, manage financial health, and collaborate with community partners to support client-centered success.
Some of your responsibilities will include, but are not limited to:
Lead and manage all aspects of the organisation's operations, ensuring alignment with its mission and strategic goals; Oversee financial management, including budgeting, financial reporting, and maintaining robust governance frameworks; Develop and implement strategic plans to maximise funding opportunities and drive organisational growth; Work with existing funders to ensure that funding KPIs are met and that reporting cycles are maintained; Build and nurture relationships with government bodies, community organisations, and other key stakeholders; Direct and support staff development, fostering a positive work environment and high-performance culture; Advocate for the organisation's mission and objectives, enhancing its profile and impact within the community. Your Skills & Experience A minimum of 5 years' experience in a senior leadership role, demonstrating effective organisational management and strategic planning; Tertiary qualifications in Business Administration or related fields, or extensive experience in business management and development; Strong financial acumen with proven ability to manage budgets, oversee financial operations, and ensure compliance with governance standards; Experience in healthcare, mental health, or the not-for-profit sector is advantageous, with a track record of working with diverse and vulnerable populations; Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build rapport with various stakeholders and lead a committed team; A current Blue Card, National Police Check, and Driver's License are required for this role.
