Our staff and Board are dedicated to providing services that are non-judgmental, inclusive, and respectful of privacy and confidentiality.The OpportunityAs the Chief Executive Officer (CEO), you will lead Family Planning Tasmania into its next chapter. You will work closely with the Board to implement FPT's strategic direction, ensuring financial sustainability, operational excellence, and alignment with FPT's values. The CEO will be a key advocate for sexual health rights and will lead a passionate team of professionals across our clinics in Glenorchy, Launceston, and Burnie.Key Responsibilities:Strategic Leadership: Work with internal and external stakeholders to formulate and execute FPT's strategic plan, ensuring alignment with organisational goals and financial sustainability.Cultural Development: Build a positive, supportive workplace culture, fostering teamwork and collaboration across all departments.Operational Management: Oversee the management team, ensure effective service delivery, and maintain a focus on continuous improvement.Stakeholder Engagement: Serve as the public face of FPT, advocating for sexual and reproductive health, and strengthening relationships with relevant government bodies and other key partners.Financial Oversight: Ensure sound financial management, including budgeting, funding negotiations, and identifying additional income-generating opportunities.Clinical Governance: Strengthen clinical governance and ensure alignment with national standards.About YouThe successful candidate will be an inclusive leader with a track record of developing high performing teams, working with complex funding models and driving sustainable growth.
