Chief Corporate Officer Sunraysia Community Health Sunraysia Community Health Services (SCHS) is a publicly funded health service in Mildura Victoria, 550 Kilometres north-west of Melbourne. SCHS is recognised as a dynamic organisation which promotes health, wellbeing and independence in a social model of health to prevent illness, disease and injury. Influencing the agenda for health policy, providing access and equity to health services for their community and encouraging innovation and flexibility to ensure services match community need is a priority. SCHS is now seeking a creative professional with business flair to join their dynamic executive team. The Chief Corporate Officer is an integral member of the executive team, central to providing strategic leadership for the organisation's corporate and financial governance. This leadership role will identify and implement strategies which positions SCHS for stability and sustainable growth which aligns with the future direction of the organisation. The position will ensure that all internal and external accountabilities relating to the organisation's finances, HR, IT, quality and risk management are met, timely and of a high standard, including reporting to the Board of Directors. The ideal candidate will have extensive senior finance leadership experience underpinned by tertiary qualifications in finance and/or business. Demonstrated experience in accounting standards and ability to identify, mitigate and manage financial and corporate risk is essential. Sound knowledge and experience with corporate governance will provide a good foundation for the direct relationship with the CEO, SCHS Board and Sub-Committees.
