With a leading technology platform combined with its new AFSL and Visa Principal Issuing licence, iGoDirect launched its own innovative range of prepaid-cards, including its exclusive web-to-wallet technology and expansion into new markets. Customer and client feedback has been exceptional, and iGoDirect is now positioned for growth and expansion into new payments verticals.
iGoDirect is seeking a dynamic and results-driven Payments Leader to oversee and optimise this payments growth and market expansion. As a key member of the Leadership team, the Chief Commercial Officer - Payments will be responsible for managing the payments market expansion including sales, marketing and product strategy. With deep market expertise combined with a strong commercial acumen and well-established relationships across the payments industry, this role is critical in supporting iGoDirect's growth and expanding our capabilities in digital payments.
Key Responsibilities:
Strategic Payments Growth: Lead the development and execution of payment strategies to grow iGoDirect's payments business. This includes leading sales, marketing and partnerships and being accountable for the growth of payments revenue.Stakeholder Management: Manage relationships with key third-parties including schemes and referral partners to ensure market opportunities are created and delivered.Risk Management and Compliance: Ensure compliance with relevant payment industry standards and regulations (e.g., PCI-DSS, AMLCTF, AFLS obligations), and be Responsible Manager for iGoDirect's AFSL.Industry Leadership: Raising the profile of iGoDirect by being its face and voice at key industry meetings, conferences and publications.Innovation and Optimisation: Stay ahead of industry trends and innovations in payment technologies, identifying and implementing new payment methods, systems, or models that improve customer experience and drive business value.Collaboration: Work closely with cross-functional teams including finance, IT, and customer service to ensure the creation and smooth functioning of payment propositions within the broader business operations.Customer Experience Focus: Ensure the payment experience is seamless, intuitive, and customer-friendly, working to resolve issues quickly and ensuring customer satisfaction.Qualifications:
Payments Experience: At least 7+ years of experience in payments management, e-commerce, or financial operations, with a strong focus on payments products, propositions and innovation.Commercial Focus: Experience in leading payments businesses and product portfolios, with exceptional commercial acumen, P&L accountability and sales experience essential.Education: Bachelor's degree in Finance, Business Administration, or a related field. Master's degree or relevant certifications is a plus.Skills:Strong understanding of global payment products, models, and digital wallets.Proven experience in leading commercial businesses in the payments industry, including revenue creation, risk management, and fraud prevention strategies.Strong sales and client focus, with the ability to proactively identify opportunities and execute on sales, whilst driving high levels of customer engagement.Analytical mindset with a data-driven approach to decision making.Expert knowledge of payment industry regulations and compliance standards (e.g., PCI-DSS, ISO27001, AML/CTF).Ability to manage multiple projects and meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment.Excellent communication and leadership skills, with the ability to work across teams and influence key stakeholders. #J-18808-Ljbffr
