About the role Based at Forth in the picturesque Forth Valley on Tasmania's Northwest Coast, our client has a vacancy for a full time permanent Chemical Sprayer.
In this permanent position, you'll play a crucial role in the health and productivity of our crops by safely and efficiently operating our state-of-the-art self-propelled sprayer.
Your expertise will help us apply herbicides, crop protectants, and fertilizers, ensuring our produce thrives.

Key Responsibilities: Operate and maintain spray equipment, including calibration, troubleshooting, and routine upkeep.
Mix and prepare chemicals according to precise instructions, ensuring safe and accurate handling.
Apply crop protectants, herbicides, and fertilizers effectively, utilizing best spraying practices.
Monitor weather conditions to adjust spraying schedules for optimal results and minimal environmental impact.
Keep accurate records of applications, chemical usage, equipment maintenance, and spray logs.
Collaborate with supervisors and agronomists to ensure adherence to application rates and procedures.
Follow WHS protocols diligently, using personal protective equipment and SOP guidelines to ensure safety.
Ensure compliance with regulatory requirements for chemical application and environmental protection.
Manage stock and maintain control over chemical supplies.
About You: We're looking for a skilled sprayer and machinery operator with several years of experience, ideally in fresh produce.
You'll thrive in a collaborative environment and demonstrate:
