With a commitment to ensuring we always evolve; Scenic World strives to deliver unforgettable and world-class experiences to our visitors.We are on the hunt for an exceptional chef / cook to join our kitchen team, who is outgoing, proactive and loves to have fun! Most importantly, this role will include no night work!The kitchen team supports our Kitchen Manager and works to deliver high quality food and service to our Scenic World visitors. This will involve food prep, cooking, cleaning and following HACCP and WHS procedures.Duties will include:Prepare, season and cook food as directed, meeting dietary requirements where requiredFollow recipes and presentation specificationsOperate standard kitchen equipment safely and efficientlyClean and organise kitchen and equipment in adherence to hygiene and safety regulationsPreserve and store food items in appropriate temperature-controlled facilitiesTo be successful in this role, you will possess and demonstrate:Eye for detail, quality focusStrong organisational skillsMaintain strict hygiene and safety standardsAbility to work under pressure in a fast-paced environmentAdept at maintaining a positive team environmentWe would love to hear from people who have outstanding communication skills and who love working as part of a team and are willing to do whatever it takes for our customers to have a positive and memorable experience.For our casuals, there is an expectation that you will have strong availability and will be available to work at short notice.To apply please click the apply now button and upload your resume.
