Reporting into the Hotel Services Coordinator, the focus of this role is to provide high quality, nutritious meals and exceptional service to our residents to enhance their daily lives. This includes:
Planning, budgeting, ordering and preparing meals in a way that will enhance the resident's dining experience, in line with all specialised diets, including supplements and texture modified foods. Leading, empowering and motivating the catering team to work at a fast pace whilst giving their best to meet residents' needs. Embracing respect, integrity and kindness in all communication and activity. Ensuring a high level of compliance with all food safety guidelines and HACCP procedures. This is a Full Time role working 38 hours Hour, Monday - Friday, 6:30am - 2:30pm About you: You are motivated, engaging and want to make a difference in the lives of our residents, enhancing their self-esteem and empowering them to make choices.
This is the place for you if you: Hold a Certificate III in Commercial Cookery (or equivalent). Have experience in a Residential Aged Care kitchen, ordering, budgeting and rostering. Aged Care experience is preferred but we will consider all candidates with relevant qualifications and leadership experience. Have worked with specialised diets, including supplements and texture modified foods. Experience leading teams of 5+. Fully conversant with HACCP and food safety legislation.
