Our Newton centre needs a skilled Chef Monday to Friday to design, prepare and deliver balanced and nutritional food in our commercial style kitchen to cater for 112 children.

About You
You are an experienced Chef who has a passion for menu planning and preparing healthy and delicious food in a commercial style kitchen. You love being part of a team and nourishing our little learners. You enjoy building relationships with our team, families and children.
Duties will include and not limited to:
Prepare nutritional meals daily for the children and the families of our centre Create nutritional menus for breakfast, morning/afternoon tea, lunch and dinners for the families to take home with them. Prepare meals for any children with allergies or special dietary requirements Maintain and ensure kitchen is stocked with staple items at all times Ensure full compliance with used by and best before dates of stock Complete all ordering of kitchen stock and supplies Ensure a high standard of hygiene is maintained within the kitchen and dining areas in compliance with policies and procedures You will possess: Food Handling Certificate A current Working with Children check Understanding of diverse dietary requirements and food sensitivities Australian Working Rights Excellent personal presentation Experience in menu creation, bulk meal preparation, online ordering, stock management and budget control Experience in commercial cooking Perks you'll enjoy: A competitive hourly rate Up to 95% off childcare fees* Funded First Aid, Anaphylaxis, CPR, and Asthma Certifications Rewards for recommending family and friends What's next?
