About the role A unique opportunity to work a predominately 9:00am to 5:30pm schedule as a Chef Manager. This role reports directly to Operations Managers and ensures the smooth running of the kitchen on a day-to-day basis.
Duties Preparation and cooking of meals as per the set menuEnsure meals are of high quality with excellent presentationCommunicating with Site Manager and Facility staffProvide supervision and direction to Kitchen StaffEnsure safe food handling and hygiene practices are maintainedCompletion of food safety documentationAdhere to budgets, stocktake and regular ordering proceduresAssisting with kitchen staff schedules and filling shifts Skills & experience Certificate III in Commercial CookeryExperience in Aged Care preferredExperience with Western CookingBasic computer skills, including Outlook and ordering processesWe are an equal opportunity employer that values and respects diversity and inclusion.
