Chef Rankey's Zone Restaurant located in Warrnambool is looking to employ a full time qualified and experienced CHEF to manage their busy kitchen.
Salary $73,150 To be considered for this role you must have; ? Australian trade qualified Certificate 3, 4 in cookery and Diploma.
? 2 year or more full time local Australian experience in a busy kitchen.
? Knowledge of Sri-Lankan cuisine will be an advantage.
? Ability to prepare all dishes displayed on menu ? Experience in planning menus, developing recipes, preparing, cooking and maintaining food quality ? Monitoring quality of dishes at all stages of preparation and presentation ? Instruct cooks and other kitchen staff in the preparation, cooking, garnishing and presentation of food.
? Demonstrating techniques and advising on cooking procedures ? Select and train kitchen staff as and when required ? Ability to maintain a clean kitchen and use kitchen appliances and equipment safely.
? Ability to maintain a COVID safe workplace.
? May need to work varied shifts as also on weekends.
