We are seeking a dynamic, creative, and career-focused individual to join our culinary team full-time. This position provides a great opportunity for a chef looking to develop their skills to further. You will ensure tasks assigned are carried out in a timely fashion, to a high standard, and within food hygiene guidelines. To be successful in this role you will have: A passion for the food and beverage industry and a willingness to succeed in it Qualifications & Experience Certificate IV Commercial Cookery with Minimum 1 year of work experience as a chef Extensive experience in similar position may substitute the formal qualification Good interpersonal and communication skills Ability to work unsupervised as well as in a team in a busy kitchen environment Good time management skills and the ability to work under pressure Demonstrated ability to be able to multi-task Duties and Responsibilities Must display excellent prep, cooking and plating skills Strong emphasis on quality, consistence of dishes A sound knowledge of food safety, hygiene and WHS Immaculate presentation and grooming Ability to handle large service numbers and work quickly Accurate Ordering, management and rotation of food supplies Supervision of kitchen staff Menu planning, food costings and budgets Apply Now: If you meet the qualifications listed above, we encourage you to apply and detail your suitability for the position.
