Chef

Position: Chef Position Type : Full-Time Salary: $75,000 to $80,000 plus superannuation per annum Location: Broadbeach QLD 4218 Our client is seeking an experienced Chef to join their restaurant located in Broadbeach, Queensland.
Tasks required include: Creating menus, calculating food and labour expenses, and managing food supply orders.
Overseeing the quality of dishes throughout preparation and presentation.
Collaborating with Managers, Dietitians, and kitchen and waiting staff to address food preparation concerns.
Demonstrating cooking methods and providing guidance on culinary techniques. Responsible for the preparation and cooking of food.
Explaining and enforcing hygiene regulations Hiring and training staff Strong Staff management and interpersonal skills that generate mutual respect and trust.
Confident, decisive, and objective with experience of making sound decisions especially under pressure.
Strong sense of accountability and desire to deliver targets set by management.
Provide appropriate, innovative, and effective recommendations to management.  Skilled at determining important issues, prioritising and multi -tasking.
Requirements: Associate Degree, Advanced Diploma or Diploma in Hospitality Certificate III and IV in Commercial Cookery At least three (3) years of relevant experience as a Chef Prior experience preparing Mexican cuisine would be highly regarded.
