We're seeking an experienced and passionate Chef to join our team and bring the vibrant flavors of Indian street food to life.

Main roles and responsibilities: Supporting the Head Chef with seasonal menu creation ensuring remains authentic to the direction of the establishment whilst managing food costs.Provide supervision and guidance to Chefs, Cooks & other kitchen staff, supporting onboarding and ongoing development of kitchen team members to create an inclusive, high-performing culture in line with company valuesEnsure compliance with food safety, hygiene, HACCP and workplace health and safety legislation and regulationAssist Head Chef with all culinary requirements, and food preparation, while fostering a positive and collaborative work environment.Ordering inventory according to needs and using approved suppliers and online ordering processesFreezing and preserving foods to maintain freshness and reduce waste.Train new staff members and conduct ongoing training for existing staff to maintain skill levels.To assist in allocating duties and rosters to permanent and casual kitchen staff.To maintain the highest standard of service, quality and presentation throughout all food outlets in conjunction with the Head Chef. Skills and Experience: Certificate IV qualification is required.The candidate must have at least 2 years' experience in a busy restaurant.Friendly, positive & approachable attitude.To be energetic & motivated.Able to work under pressure.Salary Package: $70,000 - $80,000 Plus Superannuation per annum.
