Chef And Cook

Charlie West Cafe is looking for experienced full-time Chef and Cook to join our friendly team due to our business expansion.

Your Overall Responsibilities:
Plan and select menu Organise the preparation and cooking of dishes in the kitchen.
Encourage and motivate fellow staff to take pride in their work Menu planning and estimating food costs Monthly special menu planning with consideration to seasonal quality and availability of products Daily Duties:
Supervise all staff working in the kitchen in procedures and presentation.
Ongoing training of all kitchen staff.
Monitor the standard of occupational health and safety practices within the kitchen.
Stock control.
Stock purchase in consultation with the owner.
Monitor and supervise the correct storage and refrigeration of all meat and fresh products Check and maintain all kitchen equipment as necessary Develop good communication between management, kitchen staff, and front-of-house staff Requirements:
Diploma in a relevant field for Chef and Certificate IV in cookery for Cook Ability to work under pressure and independently At least 1 year of work experience in a similar role Attractive salary between $70K to $80K will be offered to suitable candidates.
