Sales Director – Gamma Service Providers
A bit about us
Gamma is a leading supplier of Unified Communications as a Service (UCaaS): we provide voice, data and mobile products and services to the UK, German, Spanish and Benelux business markets.
Gamma is expanding its UCaaS presence in Europe with a family of businesses focusing on digital automation, delivering Gamma-powered services to SME customers via a network of channel partners in Germany, Spain, and the Benelux region.
What will you be doing day-to-day?
The key role of the Gamma Service Provider Sales Director is to fulfill the following primary objectives:
Define and lead the sales strategy for growth in the Service Provider Business Unit including Coolwave, Telsis and the UK teams in line with achieving the unit's 5-year plan.
Lead the team in maximizing the growth and retention of revenue and margin within the existing customer account base, and exceed the team's sales and other KPIs.
Motivate, develop, coach and manage the sales team.
Develop and maintain a positive team culture and attitude, underpinned by the Gamma Values.
Define, identify and execute successful growth in Sales in new geographic territories as well as new markets such as MVNO.
Execute agreed sales approach and go-to-market strategies for all products and services.
Run 1-1s and performance appraisals for team members with a coaching focus in order to maximize sales performance.
Run team meetings to capture key messages, activity, and assess sales performance.
Focus on building Gamma out as a globally recognized provider of voice and messaging enablement services.
Achieve sales target through upsell, cross-sell and contract resigns across all team members and associated customer account base.
Represent Gamma publicly at large events including public speaking and thought leadership.
Be responsible for working with internal teams to execute the wider Service Provider growth strategy.
Work to targets to achieve and exceed Key Performance Indicators (KPIs).
Manage accurate recording of sales opportunities and pipeline forecasts on Salesforce, using the company's preferred sales methodology.
Attend key meetings with the team to provide coaching feedback or to assist in closing larger sales opportunities.
Review and manage their team's credit requests for values that sit within their approval remit.
Represent their team's opportunities through the Credit Committee process.
Review and manage their team's expense claims in line with company policy.
Be responsible for appropriate performance reporting to the Business Director.
Assist the Business Director in producing a monthly management summary of key opportunities won, pending and lost.
Be the first port of call for customers' escalations on day-to-day transactional requests and first line support on complaints.
Cascade company strategy objectives to the team.
Share relevant information regarding updates and changes to Product roadmaps.
Help assure updates on network infrastructure and planned maintenance are understood with the team.
Work closely with other departments to ensure sales verification and compliance with regulatory requirements.
Promote an atmosphere centered on delivering excellence.
Represent the Gamma brand through an ability to communicate in a business-like manner.
What you'll need
The ideal candidate will have a successful track record in leading and managing sales teams to exceed targets.
The candidate must also have some relevant and transferable telecoms experience including a good understanding of wholesale voice and messaging.

A few things to note
This role will require travel to one of our London offices once or twice a week.
