Location: Canberra, Australian Capital Territory Type: Contract Job #17094 About the role Our federal government client is seeking an experienced Change Manager to lead efforts in maximising adoption, managing stakeholder relationships, and ensuring successful project outcomes.
Key responsibilities Leverage change management methodologies to create a strategy supporting adoption of project changes.
Design, develop, deliver, and manage key communications.
Conduct impact analyses, assess change readiness, and identify key stakeholders.
Collaborate with stakeholders to gather, document, and prioritize requirements aligning with strategic goals.
Contribute to process and governance improvement initiatives.
Champion best practices and foster a culture of collaboration and excellence.
Skills and experience 5+ years of experience in organizational change management, with 3+ years in digital transformation roles.
Excellent business writing and communication skills for influencing senior management decisions.
Proven track record in eliciting requirements and acquiring subject matter expertise.
Experience working with diverse stakeholders, including scientific and government backgrounds.
Significant experience with ICT projects, particularly in software and systems development methodologies.
Ability to handle complex and ambiguous problems and make sound decisions.
Highly desirable criteria Experience with science, information systems, and ICT projects.
Ability to apply critical thinking and problem-solving skills effectively.
Comfortable working in a cross-discipline and distributed team environment.
