Our Federal Government is seeking to engage a Change Manager.
Location: ACT Employment: 6 months, with 2 X 6 months extension option Eligibility/Security Requirement: Must be able to obtain Baseline Requirements As a change manager, you will lead efforts to maximize adoption, manage stakeholder relationships, and ensure successful project outcomes.
The primary responsibilities will include creating and implementing change management strategies and plans and managing key internal stakeholders to effectively embed change.
In this role you will: Leverage change management methodologies, process and tools to create a strategy to support adoption of the changes required by a project or initiative.
Enable the design, development, delivery and management of key communications.
Conduct impact analyses, assess change readiness, and identify key stakeholders.
Collaborate with stakeholders to gather, document, and prioritize requirements that align with strategic goals and develop detailed business and technical requirements.
Contribute to the identification and implementation of process and governance improvement initiatives.
Champion best practices and foster a culture of collaboration and excellence.
To be successful in the role you will: Be proactive and autonomous, with the ability to identify risks and areas for improvement, with associated action plans.
Apply critical thinking and problem-solving skills in day-to-day activities.
Be comfortable working in a cross discipline and distributed team.
Be a strong and capable change champion.
Essential criteria: 5+ years of experience in organizational change management roles.
3+ years of experience in digital transformation roles.
Excellent business writing and communication skills to effectively influence senior management decisions.
Proven track record in eliciting requirements and acquiring subject matter expertise.
Experience working with stakeholders of various backgrounds and seniority levels, including scientific and government stakeholders.
Significant experience with science, information systems and ICT projects, particularly in software and systems development methodologies.
Ability to handle complex and ambiguous problems and find solutions.
Sound decision-making and judgment to provide high-level advice.
