Queensland Police Service (Organisation site ) Finance Division; Strategy and Corporate Services; Brisbane City You will be part of the Strategic Financial Projects team tasked to review uplift and implement financial management capabilities and processes to improve financial governance and fiscal discipline within the QPS.
As part of this role, you'll also collaborate with internal stakeholders to support process improvements for key QPS projects and initiatives.
As well as providing the division with organisation and process change techniques, engaging with various stakeholders, analysing issues, and implementing change management strategies.
Job details Position status: Fixed Term Temporary Position type: Flexible full-time Occupational group: Management Classification: AO7 Workplace Location: Job ad reference: QLD/594825/24 Closing date: 16-Oct-2024 Yearly salary: $127842 - $136895 Fortnightly salary: $4900.20 - $5247.20 Job duration: Until 30/06/2025 with possible extension Your Key Accountabilities The Core Capability Requirements for this role are: Develop and execute a scalable structured change management methodology to change management practices across the division and wider QPS.
Deliver, lead and manage engagement and communication activities applying established Project or Change Management methodology.
Identify and evaluate risk and manage through appropriate mitigation strategies.
Prepare, lead and deliver a range of communications including workshops and meetings to internal and external stakeholders, project team members and governance bodies.
Manage readiness and transition activities for internal stakeholders, utilising appropriate status reporting and tracking.
Build and maintain positive and productive relationships with internal and external stakeholders providing professional leadership, guidance and support.
Role Requirements: Qualification: While not mandatory, a relevant qualification in Change Management would be well regarded.
