About the Role
Technology plays a critical role in the delivery of AGL's strategy, helping our customers decarbonise the way they live, move and work and transitioning our generation portfolio.
Our Cloud Analytics and Data Platforms Technology team currently has an opportunity for a Change Analyst with a focus on Data Governance to lead our Data Council.
The Change Analyst will drive data governance initiatives, manage change related to data policies and practices, and lead the Data Council to ensure effective data management and governance across AGL. This is a 12 month fixed term contract.
What you'll be doing
Lead the Data Council, coordinating activities, meetings, and initiatives, while facilitating collaboration among members and stakeholders.
Develop and integrate detailed change management plans into project plans, ensuring timelines, communication strategies, and resource requirements are met.
Facilitate stakeholder meetings and workshops to ensure alignment and buy-in for change initiatives.
Develop and deliver clear, concise communication plans and materials, including presentations, emails, and newsletters.
Identify training needs related to change initiatives and coordinate the development and delivery of training programs, providing ongoing support and guidance.
Prepare regular reports for senior management on the status and impact of change initiatives, implementing best practices and lessons learned to enhance future efforts.
About you
You have prior experience working in a change analyst role and experience supporting data governance initiatives. You have strong analytical and problem-solving skills with the ability to analyse complex data and provide actionable insights. You have strong communication skills and experience working collaboratively with stakeholders across different business units.
In-depth knowledge of change management principles, methodologies, and tools.
Experience with change impact analysis and risk assessment.
Skilled in creating and delivering effective presentations and materials to diverse audiences and stakeholder groups.
Strong understanding of data modelling, data mapping and data structures.
Background in agile delivery with experience using tools such as Confluence and JIRA.
