Central Coast Local Health District (CCLHD) is seeking an experienced and passionate Aboriginal Mental Health Coordinator to join our Central Coast Mental Health Service (CCMHS). This vital role involves leading and coordinating services within the Aboriginal Mental Health Team (AMHT) to support and enhance the recovery, social, and emotional well-being of Aboriginal people on the Central Coast. As a clinical leader, you will work closely with mainstream mental health clinicians, external agencies, and Aboriginal-controlled organisations to advocate for and deliver culturally appropriate mental health services.
This role is suitable for: Clinical Nurse Specialist Grade 2 Occupational Therapist Level 3 Social Worker Level 3 Counsellor Level 3 Psychologist Senior Psychologist About You You are of Aboriginal descent through parentage, identify as being Aboriginal and be accepted in the community as such. You have extensive demonstrated and or relevant Post Grad experience in Mental Health. You hold Degree qualifications in area of specialty, and maintenance of all professional registration required to practice, including but not limited to APHRA with relevant post-registration qualifications and at least 3 years' experience working in the clinical area of their specified post-graduate qualification, or such other qualifications or equivalent experience deemed appropriate by the public hospital or public health organisation. You hold a current NSW drivers licence and are willing to travel to locations within the District.
